What is the Discussion List?
The discussion forum is a emailing-list to establish connections with colleagues, who are also involved with interpretation.
Use the forum for
- Posting information about upcoming events
- Asking questions about suppliers, designers
- Finding out contacts
- Asking advice on interpretation issues you are facing
- Sharing any good techniques, articles and ideas you come across
How do I join?
To subscribe to the discussion list, simply send an email to requests@list.scotinterpnet.org.uk with “subscribe discussion” in the body of the email. You then simply send a message to discussion@list.scotinterpnet.org.uk. This will then send the message to everyone else who has subscribed. When you receive a message you can respond to everyone through a simple reply or you can contact the sender direct.
What is the etiquette?
Basic internet and email etiquette should be followed. In particular we would ask members to help with keeping the forum efficient please respond direct to the email address, of the individual you wish to comment to.
While we will not overtly moderate the messages we prefer that members do not use the list to promote commercial activities
